01 Is this site run by Thomas Massie or his campaign? +
No. ThomasMassie28.com is an independent draft / advocacy project.
It is not authorized by, paid for, or coordinated with Thomas Massie, his
congressional office, or any campaign or committee.
02 Are you collecting donations? Where does my money go? +
Nowhere — we will never ask for your credit card. We do not collect, hold,
or process any money. A "pledge" on this site is a public statement of support —
what you would commit to a future Massie campaign if and when he runs.
No funds change hands here. Period.
03 What happens to my pledge? +
Your name (first name + last initial), state, optional city, your reason, and
your stated pledge amount are made public on the wall and on your personal share
page. Your email, ZIP, and commitments are kept private.
04 Why do you want my email? +
Two reasons. (1) To verify your pledge — we send a one-click link
and your reason only goes live after you click it. (2) To send occasional
updates about the Draft Massie movement. If an authorized Massie 2028
committee forms, this list may be transferred to that campaign (see
"Will this be sold?" below). We will never spam you or share your email
with unrelated third parties.
05 What about my ZIP? +
It's used to compute state-level totals (so we can publish things like "Iowa:
412 pledges, $89,420") and, if a campaign forms, to help with district-level
organizing. ZIPs are never made public.
06 Can I delete my pledge? +
Yes — visit
/remove and enter your email. We'll send a
confirmation link. Click it and your public card and private record are
permanently deleted.
07 How do I know my pledge is real? +
It isn't, in a legal sense — it's a stated intent. That's the point. We are
building a public record of how many people would give and how much, conditional
on a Massie 2028 run. That number is the message.
08 How is this different from a petition? +
A petition collects names. We collect arguments. Every page on the wall is
someone's actual reason in their own words, with a personal share image. The
wall isn't a list — it's a chorus.
09 What stops people from spamming the wall? +
Email verification, rate-limits, Cloudflare Turnstile, an obscenity / URL
filter, and human review on flagged submissions. Bots get a fake-success
response and never reach the wall.
10 Will this be sold or transferred? +
Maybe. The intent is to make this site a turnkey asset for an authorized Massie
2028 campaign or aligned PAC: a verified email list, a working pledge funnel,
a domain, and a complete codebase. If that handoff happens, your data follows
the rules above (private fields stay private; public fields stay public) and
any further use will be governed by the receiving committee's privacy policy.
